Just Who Do I Think I Am?

So who am I? I’m Scott Kustes and yes, that’s me, dressed as the Swedish Chef for Halloween. I started this site because I love cooking and eating. And to be modest, I’m really good at both of them.

Some of you know me from the health and fitness game for the last 5 years. A few years back, I started a blog called Modern Forager, which later became part of Fitness Spotlight. These were two of the early blogs in what became the Paleo movement. And it wasn’t long before the site was hitting over 100,000 views per month, helping people lose weight and get in shape.

And Today, Cooking Naked?

You see, there are plenty of people telling you WHAT to eat. Been there, done that, tired of obsessing about it. Nobody is telling you HOW to make it taste good. So I want to help people actually get in the kitchen and have fun, learn how to cook any kind of meat and vegetables, and be able to make up their own killer recipes.

I don’t care if you can’t use an Easy Bake Oven. You can learn to cook. It was only a few years back, I couldn’t cook to save my life. But I got in there and gave it the old college try and I started to pick up on some things. I got to where I could make food that mostly didn’t suck and didn’t come out of a package.

Learning The Ropes

But that wasn’t enough for me. The last few years, I’ve dedicated myself to learning how to turn out quick, simple meals with super fresh ingredients that rival anything you’ll find in a restaurant.

As for the price, let’s just say for the price you pay in the drive-thru, I can have a Sesame-Curry Pork Tenderloin or some Ginger-Soy Short Ribs on the table. Let’s not even talk about what a real restaurant will cost you. And if you have 10 minutes, you can get any number of meals on the table.

It’s Revolution, Baby!

So I’m starting a Real Food Revolution. This Revolution is going to help people get out of the fast food lifestyle of running out the door while shoveling something out of a package down their gullets. It’s going to get people off the diet rollercoaster. And this Revolution is also going to show you that you don’t need to count a single calorie or gram of carbs or fat to fit into the jeans you wish you could wear.

In the Real Food Revolution, I’m going to show you some of my favorite posts from my former blogging life that will teach you everything you need to know about what real food is, or naked food as I’ve started calling it.
